SIT is a validation team, part of CPS Notebook & Desktop Development Organization. The team covers validation for all brandings/all form factors of Consumer PCs, from Omen(HPI Gaming branding)/Spectre to Pavilion/OPP, from traditional Desktop PCs to latest detachable mobile PCs, from Windows to Chrome, and from x86(Intel/AMD) to ARM.

1. Develop and implement test standards, processes, tools and methodologies (like test case, testers, test devices, test tools & planning/schedule); partners with Taiwan R&D function teams to establish testing requirements and test plans with high level of testing competence. And this is a MUST.
2. Understand user requirements, high level design and derive test scenarios and test cases
3. Translate all requirements into executable daily operation with ODM project team; remote lead the project team and do knowledge transfer to them.
4. Set up testing environment, Write and execute test cases/scripts in standard format
5. Communicate the testing status during whole development phase, like test progress, critical/blocked issues, resolutions and specific features with platform system team or internal management team.
6. Work cross-functionally with key partners to deliver product definition meeting feature, quality and user experience goals.
7. Identify opportunities for optimization.
Education and Experience Required:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
2. 6+ years of relevant professional engineering experience
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Must have excellent Mandarin communications skills, verbal and written.
2. Must have good English communication skills, verbal and written.
3. Experience with software development lifecycles including Scrum or a similar agile process.
4. Experience with server side testing is huge plus
5. Code review (C#, JAVA, Python, JavaScript) or automation experience is huge plus
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Must be able to work well as part of a high-performance R&D team.
8. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills in a large, diverse environment.
9. Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
10. Experience managing issues of technical and logistic complexity.
11. Experience achieving results through others - such as ODM partners.
12. Proven ability to manage time effectively and lead multiple projects simultaneously across businesses.
13. Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills
