Description
The Services Supply Chain ships more than 9M parts, processes 650k whole unit repair events globally per year through an extensive network of outsourcing partners. This position is part of the CS (Customer Support) Supply Chain Organization, reporting directly to the Global CS Supply Chain Service Partner Manager under Personal Systems Platform.
Responsibilities:
1. This position will be responsible to manage commodity supplier from contract, Ts&Cs, pricing, operation etc. performance management and strategic support within HP Customer Support Supply Chain.
2. Independently executes complex situations that is impacting assurance of supply, and identifying root cause and their impact, find solutions for both recovery and prevention.
3. Identifies opportunities for process improvement and leads/develops recommendations and provides insight for management.
4. Works cross-functionally to prioritize backlog.
5. Partners with global business units and regional/market team to understand internal stakeholders’ requirement.
6. Leads cross-functional regional and global business unit different teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
7. Defines and reviews performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement actions to address.
8. Responsible for supplier end to end performance management and actively manage supplier as escalation point, lead monthly/quarterly supplier performance review. Represent CS supply chain at supplier business review meeting.
9. Contributes to priority projects by adding creative insights and developing recommendations.
10. Mentors junior-level staff and establishes guidelines for the mentorship programs.

Education and Experience Required:
1. First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
2. Typically 6-10 years of experience in a supply chain function.
3. Experience in more than one supply chain function.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Excellent understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
2. Strong negotiation skill and influence capabilities.
3. Identifies cutting edge analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions.
4. Excellent communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
5. Excellent internal and external relationship management skills.
6. Extensive knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
7. Very Strong project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies.
8. Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
9. Very strong understanding of HP's overall supply chain strategy.
10. Excellent understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP and master scheduling.
11. Excellent understanding of national and international trade requirements to align customs/trade function with business objectives.
12. Thorough knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis.
13. Strong leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management.
