Job Responsibility

1.   Manage and oversee API process R&D and production activities for projects at CRO/CMO to ensure well resource/equipment planning and on-time delivery (100%）

2.   Perform synthetic route design and scouting with innovative inputs for API process R&D purpose

3.  Support/visit at CMO production site is expected

4.  To perform OOT, OOS, deviation investigation and trouble shooting in a timely manner

5.  Take part in process/product life-cycle know-how management, like prepare Technical package

6.  Take part in CMOs management by on-going monitoring their performance and developing their capability

7.  Identify, evaluate and develop CMOs/suppliers in China for supporting Dizal API process R&D and production activities

Knowledge & Skills

1.Solid knowledge and understanding of organic synthesis

2.Good knowledge and understanding of chemical/pharmaceutical process up-scaling and (pilot) production

3.Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written forms in interdisciplinary environments

4.Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to participate in a highly effective team and work independently

Education/Experience

1.  Ph.D. with at least 3 year working experience in the area of API process R&D and production

2.  Worked as a leading chemist in API projects, demonstrated technical expertise in API process R&D and production

3.  Run scale-up projects in chemical (pilot) plant

4.  Knowledge of cGMP and experience in late phase API project is a plus
