In a rapidly evolving digital economy, blockchain technology will form the backbone of the next era of distributed enterprise and consumer applications with its business value surging to exceed $3.1 trillion by 2030 per Gartner. Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) is looking for strong, passionate researchers and developers at various levels in Blockchain.
Qualifications
Qualifications for Developers:
· Master or PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent field
· Solid knowledge of data structure/algorithm
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Experience with Blockchain technologies preferred
· Knowledges and experiences in large systems and open-source communities in related areas as preferred
· Familiarity with engineering process as a strong plus
· Hands-on project management skills as a strong plus
Qualifications for Researchers:
·PhD degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent field
·Good research track record in related areas, with evidence through academic publications and services
·Extensive and deep research experience in, and familiarity with, the literature and the state-of-the-art research/practice in related areas
·Demonstrated ability to develop research agendas and carry out research tasks independently and/or with collaboration
·Good communication and presentation skills in written and oral English
·Good implementation skills as a strong plus

·Hands-on tech-transfer experiences and/or project management skills as a strong plus
