Role Purpose:
– Overall responsibility for the running of our Qing Dao Office with degree of autonomy/authority
– Responsibility for managing P&L, fulfil budget revenue and profit targets for Qing Dao as per the business plan
– Define and execute the strategy and business development plan through managing and representing Qing Dao office in the market, enabling clients to maximise their property interests.
– To work towards increasing market visibility, managing existing and developing new local business with a focus on improving service delivery standards
– Facilitate the cross-working and cross-selling of all business lines within Northern China
– Lead, motivate and develop the team of employees working in the location
Responsibilities:
Clients & Marketing
– Identify and implement a plan to develop a client portfolio in Qing Dao Area
– Develop and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing clients at a senior level, actively developing business opportunities
– Be the point person to maintain a constant vigil on emergence of new practices, changes in competitive landscape and market that need to be addresses to enable C&W to grow and improve market position
– Develop a ‘”One Team” culture and fostering co-operation between functions to deliver seamless service to clients through regular effective communication and social events
Productivity & Finance
– Oversee business teams responsible for revenue generation to ensure profitable and sustainable new client acquisition, growing “Share of wallet” from existing client base
– Identify markets and actions needed to achieve revenue and profit targets through effective resource allocation of team.
– To deliver to target (PBT), through better control of expenses, control of operating costs, reduce discretionary expenditure to minimum, maintain average debtors position and manage on budgeting and forecasting.
Operations
– Establish and maintain standards and procedures, communicate them and ensure own and team’s work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (e.g. health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
– Identify, manage and mitigate risks by implementing plans to review output of quality and risk procedures and achieve clear internal and external audit reports
People & Teams
– Provide leadership, direction, on-going coaching, mentoring and other development opportunities for teams in Qing Dao; set stretching objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
– Ensure the necessary resources and support are in place to allow teams to deliver against clients’ and business needs and expectations
– Foster an environment of teamwork between the departments and offices and model high level leadership and communications skills
Qualifications:
– University degree
– Preferably postgraduate business degree (e.g. MBA)
Knowledge & Experience:
– Comprehensive knowledge of the real estate industry sector
– Strong market and local knowledge
– Experience of delivering change management in a fast paced moving environment
– Experience of delivering high profile business initiatives
– Proven business development and experience gained in relevant business area and demonstrable understanding of client needs
– Strong team and people management experience
– High level business and report writing experience
