Key purpose
The role of the Managing Director is to provide this international boutique investment bank with inspiring leadership and a creative vision for its Shanghai office, add strategic value and have overarching responsibility for the practical management of the Shanghai office day to day.
Person Specification & Experience
? Substantial strategic and operational leadership experience at senior management/board level within an investment bank or similar financial services institution.
? Experience of leading and managing change.
? Experience of leading, inspiring and motivating staff to own and deliver organisational vision and goals.
? Demonstrates a good track record in achieving income growth.
? Demonstrably successful external marketing experience and experience of public presentations and speaking.
? Good knowledge of statutory requirements in relation to running a boutique Financial Services organisation.
? Experience of brokering and maintaining a network of relationships & partnerships to support objectives.
