In 1956, the LAPP Group headquarters was established in Stuttgart, Germany. Since Mr. Oscar Lapp, the founder of the company, invented the world's first control cable for industrial use in 1957, after more than half a century of development, LAPP products include LFLEX Power and Control cables for industrial use below 1kV, UNITRONIC Data Communication Systems, ETHERLINE Data communication systems for ETHERNET technology, HITRONIC Optical transmission systems, EPIC Industrial connectors, SKINTOP Cable glands, SILVYN Protective cable conduit systems and cable carrier systems, FLEXIMARK Marking systems and other tools and cable accessories. LAPP Business in China since 1999, LAPP Kabel Shanghai Co., Ltd. was formally established in Shanghai on January 2003 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of LAPP Group and its China headquarters. The company has established branches in Beijing, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Wuhan, Shenyang, Tianjin, Suzhou, Taicang, Shenzhen and other places, striving to provide customers with better, more efficient and more convenient services. LAPP Cable Works Shanghai Co., Ltd. was established in 2012 to develop and produce localized products. In the future, it will help to create a win-win situation with our customers in terms of R&D investment and the realization of localization strategies and core competitive advantages.
