Covidien Medical Product (Shanghai) Manufacturing L.L.C. is a $40 million ‘Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise’(WFOE) investment by Covidien in the United States. The entity was founded in November, 2006. Covidien bought the building located in the CaoHeJing Export Processing Zone. Renovation started in January, 2006 and moved into the facility in April, 2007. The facility is made up by two connected buildings with ground area 3,962 square meters and 18,724 square meters built-up area. In addition to Electronic production floor and warehouse, the plant houses two clean rooms - a 2,014 square meters class 100,000 and a 445 square meters class 300,000, and a 434 square meters Laboratory. Currently we have above 360 employees. The main business for our company is to manufacture medical products and provide technical support & after-services, etc.
